Marching in support of economic development?

I guess the ‘Chi is starting to get interested in economic development.

More than 200 people came out on Saturday to show their support to the sale of the Weyerhaeuser mill. A Quebec-based company, Arbec, wants to buy the mill and reopen it. It would mean 150 jobs in the mill, plus the woodyard, and it get woodcutters back to work supplying some of the wood.

Hurrah.  The people are speaking.  Let’s have rallies all over New Brunswick.  “We want Google in Dalhousie!”  “We want Michelin in Campbellton”  “We won’t quit until we attract wind turbine manufacturing to Belledune!”

Well, it’s a start.
