Moncton’s longtime city manager is retiring at the end of May. Moncton city council made the news public Monday night when it voted to accept Lawrence (Al) Strang’s offer of retirement. Strang has been Moncton’s chief administrator for almost two decades, having joined the city in May of 1989.
Al was a behind the scenes guy. The quintessential city manager. The city has done well under his leadership.
Good luck, Al.
I hope the City hires a cracker jack for the next round. I think that role is absolutely crucial to the future of Moncton.
