Al Hogan over at the T&T thinks he has found the ‘Dumbest idea of 2007’ in the self sufficiency task force’s recommendation that wage rates need to rise in the province.
While I do have my reservations, I disagree. But we can look no further than the T&T for a candidate for the ‘Dumbest idea’ so far in 2007:
Al Hogan slamming Saint John and its six NB cabinet members on page 1 and then groveling for convention centre funding for Moncton in the We Say column.
I have talked to literally dozens of biz people in both cities and they all say that Al and the T&T is a considerable barrier to better cooperation between the two largest urban centres in New Brunswick.
